BIG DAY

It's graduation day tomorrow. I don't exactly know how I feel. Parang excited na anxious, na sad na ewan ko.

Questions in my mind right now?
1. Magkakatrabaho na kaya ako?
2. Magkikita kita pa kaya kami ng friends ko?
3. Paano na yung mga friends kong maiiwan sa BA?
4. Mamimiss kaya nila ako?
5. Pupunta pa kaya ako sa ABAM? haha
6. Sino kaya pinaka mamimiss ko?

Everything about leaving and being away, that's the main feeling I have. But it's fine. I'm excited about so many things too!

Like...
1. Attending ABAM events as an Alumni
2. Seeing friends in random places
3. Surprise visits and all that shizz
4. Earning my own money.
5. Traveling!

YEHEY! Here's to a bigger world and a crazier life! Cheers!

Good Day

First, A BIG BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the graduating students of CBA! Especially to my batchmates! Especially to my cum laude and magna cum laude friends, yehey to you! Pero shemps, super mega congrats rin sa mga hindi cum laude. OKAY LANG YAN FRIENDS! WE HAD A BLAST IN COLLEGE. YUN ANG IMPORTANTE. I love you friends!!!

Second, today my family had dinner at CPK. Again, nadaan ko nanaman sa joke yung Daddy ko. So far I've lured him into getting me a pair of lovely flats, eat at Zong, and now CPK. I usually eat with friends sa mga ganyang lakad, pero ayan. He used to prefer eating whatever mom cooked or he'd have Dencio's or Congo Grill deliver us food. Now his food directory is expanding gradually. Safest bet before was Super Bowl. Then Recipes. Now, so far Zong passed his standards with flying colors. CPK naman, he eats there with his colleagues whenever they have a meeting at ATC. So technically it's his first time to treat us in CPK. I love the Thai Crunch Salad. Also it was a funny dinner coz I told them about the funny kwentos from Raish. Yung Rodic's story and also yung friend niya na nag communion tapos pagkabigay ng priest ng Host, sabi ng friend "ay, thank you." RAISH, REMEMBER THESE STORIES? ahahahaha

Third, I wasn't able to make it to Tim Humangit's birthday surprise. Rona is the mastermind. I hope to hear a lot of kwentos from Keberloo and Weng. I hope it went well!

Fourth, gaaah! I'm excited to see my batch tomorrow! It's our Baccalaureate mass and grad orientation. I miss them na talaga.

Fifth, this summer is weird. It's raining - like heavy the past few days. Sana sa grad sunny. hehehe Feeling ko Global Warming nanaman toh eh. It's Earth Day pa naman today. We can all do something for the Earth. One, HELP SAVE PASIG RIVER! Two, conserve energy. Commute when you can. Or when we're rich, buy fuel efficient cars please.

YEHEY THAT'S IT. I'm such a tamad-mag-isip-mega-bum-mode blogger lately so ayan, sabog post again.

Crazy Topic Dump

ON SOME CRAZY ENCOUNTER...

Can I just say:

Ako'y naloka
Hinanap kita
Ngunit siya ang nakita
Kaloka diba?

AYAN, I'M SUPER SABAW. AHAHAHA

ON THE UPCOMING VACATION (for real)...

Take me to Baguio friends! And I'll take you to Bicol. Yehey!

ON THIS RAINY DAY...

I've never been appreciative of the rain. Coz it's muddy. It ruins my shoes. And it's such a hassle to commute when it's raining. Today I SORT OF appreciate it kasi gosh ang init kaya ng summer na toh! Pero sort of lang kasi naman...I was wearing my new Hush Puppies Bayside driving shoes. I have been eyeing this pair for months but since I'm saving up for a camera, I never really entertained the thought of getting one. My dad got me these pair one random day at the mall. Niloko ko lang talaga siya saying 'Daddy, halika. Ganda oh, bagay sakin.' HAHA

Forgive the photo. It's nicer in real life haha

Anyhooo, back to my rainy kwento...I was wearing it today when I went to Shang with Mom and guess what, pauwi, mega ulan. nakakaloka. Natawa nalang daddy ko kasi inis na inis ako kasi nabasa. haha

ON GRADUATION PREPS...
Ang hirap maghanap ng grad outfit. hahaha Unlike the boys who have to wear a barong and then the usual slacks and black shoes, we girls have to find the perfect dress and the shoes to go with it. May guidelines pa na prescribed length, color and all that shizz. Bahala kayo. HAHAHA

I have a dress na. I had it made. Yun talaga inuna namin dati pa pero the shoes jusme. It took mom and I three days to find one. Kasi una ang hirap mag match ng color. Second, lahat ata ng babaeng bumili ay size 9, naubos na. Wala na for me. Third, hindi comfortable yung ibang shoes. Basta, hindi ko feel eh. Pero ayun okay naman today. Thank God.

Natatawa ako. I don't usually post a journal-ish blog. Pero nahawa ata ako kay Erielle. HAHAHA

Talent talent!

I appreciate talent. I love it when people showcase what they can do. Especially in singing.

Years ago I thought Charice Pempengco was good. I first saw her in this segment in MTB where you will sing a line in a certain song tapos pataas ng pataas yung pitch. I forgot the name of of the game pero i remember 'To reach the unreachable star" was one of the lines sang (pero not by Charice.) Anyhoo, point is, its been a long journey for her to reach her dreams pero at least bongga na siya ngayon. Minsan nga nakakapagod na marinig eh.HAHA gujab teh!

Eto isang pang bongga. Got this link from Weng. Eh naintriga me. It's a clip from Britain's Got Talent. Isa pang GUJAB TEH!

Bawal i-embed yung video so check so click here! Enjoooy!

On Watching TV

I suuuper love watching TV. My friends can attest to that. Whenever there's a new ad, I know it agad! I can happily stay at home and just watch the television. Nung may cable, super saya. Kahit wala nang cable, ok lang, masaya pa rin! haha

Aside from movie reruns of my favorite Pinoy movies, I love watching late night documentaries. As in Reporter's Notebook, Correspondents, i-witness, Kalye. Lahat yan! Also Urban Zone and Trip na Trip.

At this moment I am watching The Correspondents. Tonight's feature is entitled BUSERO. It talks about the life of the fishermen of Rosario, Cavite. As in omg mega tears galore ako. HAHAHA I'm such a softie pag mga ganyang stuff. I really wanna do the same- like make documentaries about normal people's lives, open other people's eyes on what's really happening to our fellowmen. You'll realize how much injustice there is in the country. WHERE DO OUR TAXES GO? Hello!!! Wake up corrupt people. You'll all die and rot in hell. Imagine how much damage you've caused the nation? Ghad I hate politicians!

I guess it's safe to say this is my dream job. I feel that I can serve the country this way. As in homayghad, give me a job in the network and I will make my way up there.

If not naman, probably I want to be super mega rich so I can help them in my own way.

I recommend that you guys watch these docus also. It's a real treat for the mind, and the heart. So ayun, I'm just saying hindi nasasayang ang oras ko sa panonood ng TV. hahaha

Filipino and Proud!

This post is about all things Filipino. I've always believed we are an amazing race and we are super blessed with an equally amazing country. Here are some stuff we can be proud of.

1. Mabuhay guides. I learned about them from Carlos Celdran's blog. They're a bunch of young Filipinos who underwent intensive training under the Department of Tourism. They are well versed about the Philippines- history, arts, culture, cuisine- basically anything Filipino. And their job? To be the official guides of prime ministers, diplomats and even celebrities who will visit the country. They will be earning P4,000 a day and P5,000 for those who know a foreign language other than English. Plus travel ang photo op- not bad. haha

2. Camiguin. They have their version of Boracay Island- only much peaceful and smaller. The White Island of Camiguin is known for its white (duh) sand. What's amazing is that this island only appears on a low tide. I've been here maybe 10 years ago and I can't wait to come back. That time, the manongs told us a story where a couple got stranded on the island so they had to stay overnight because the next banca will arrive in the morning. Shempre nag high tide, ayun naka tip-toe sila all night. hahaha benta talaga yung kwento.

3. Our  very own...KEBERLOO! hahaha Inspired by the hit tv series Gossip Girl, Emm Enriquez launched his own version. Keberloo stays in touch with the Pinoy culture as the non-incognito Keberloo talks about his (and his friends) adventures, random thoughts, kilig moments and whatnots. Sneak into Keberloo's crazy world here.

Snippity snappity boom!

Snippets of my recent thoughts and encounters:

1. According to showbiz talk shows, you either have a booming career or a blooming love life. Mahirap bang mamili? hahaha What would you pick?

2. A few days ago, I had this conversation with an orgmate.

J.B. (4/10/2009 1:53:09 AM): ate may tanong ako.... masama bang magsabi sa crush (or ex-crush) na crush (or naging crush) mo siya?
O diba? How intriguing? haha Katawa talaga. SI J.B. nga pala ay hindi si JB de Hoya. Initials lang yung JB.
Anyhoo, try mo ngang sagutin!

3. Got this quote from Ate Carms' multiply blog. (fyi: Ate Carms is an ABAM alumni. She was the HR VP during my trans process hehe)

"I believe in happy endings...if it's not happy now, then it's not yet the end..."
True true.

4. Ghad di pa ako nakaka bakasyon as in for real. I wanna get away from it all! haha I'm ecxited for the Bicol trip with Isadora and other friends. Who wants to come? 6k- airfare, butanding dive and pocket money. Food and place is on me yo!

5. Graduation...16 days! Gotta find the perfect grad shoes. hehe

How are things goin on your side of the world?

Revamp!

Blog revamp to be exact. haha

I came up with the decision mostly out of boredom. I have just finished watching Confessions of a Shopaholic. Since I'm not sleepy yet, I decided to check my blog. The gloomy background of black made me sad. So viola! Hello white! I'm happy with the change. It's a breath of fresh air and could do well as a milestone in my life. That today we shall all welcome change. Not all change is bad after all.

I feel I am maturing every passing day. I spend a lot of time looking for a job that I am really called for (haha choosy!), I spend quite a few hours reassessing my life goals (yuck, as if meron), and whatnots.

But sometimes, no matter how mature we become or how much revamp we do, we can't just let go of the things we love. Or maybe not just things...if you know what I mean.
