Reyna and Doña

Finance exam- better, i think. hahaha

3-hour Law class- We survived it! Yay!

Shopping with Fa at Trinoma. Suuuuper sarap pumili ng bibilhin! hahaha Shopping is healthy. You walk and walk and walk. Which exercises your muscles. You sharpen you practical Math skills when you compute for discounts. You also get to apply your Cost-benefit analysis when deciding to avail of your credit card's 15% discount or using that gift certificate with the normal 10% discount. You improve your taste while updating yourself with the current trends in the market. You are able to study the layouts of the stores and see how they segregate their goods. You observe how well they treat their customers. You realize that work performances are actually practiced and appraisals really happen. hahahaha See? Shopping is part of our holistic development as students- especially business students.

Okay, enough justifying our guilty pleasure. haha We wanted to buy a lot of stuff. Numerous pairs of pretty shoes, endless shelves of bags and clothes. Fa and I kept repeating to ourselves "Hayaan na natin. Mabibili natin yan lahat pag doña na tayo." That's some kind of motivation noh? hahaha

My other motivations would be my dream house and my travel list. That's about it. This may sound quite materialistic but who am I to deny that? In a world where people work hard to succeed, I guess we all deserve to reap the fruits of our labor right? I want to see the beauty of the world! I want to travel with my family, with my friends, I want to travel alone too! But maybe not soon. That'd be freaky for me. hehehe For my dream house- I want it to be perfect for relaxing after a hard day. I want a cool house where my kids can hang out with their friends. Kahit pang batch party, panalo! hahaha Joke lang. Well, I'd understand that. hahaha A house with lots of garden space where family gatherings can be held. Where endless videoke nights happen and where the cutest sleepovers take place. Oh diba? I want a house big enough to satisfy the simple things that I appreciate in life, like spending time with the people who really matter.

That won't be so soon but even if we're like 10, 20, 30 years older, we can still have a batch party right? hahaha Isama mo na buong pamilya mo! haha

So you see, shopping is more that just spending your allowance on pretty footwear. It's where dreams are built...at least for us.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy my dinner with the queen.

Check out her crown. HAHAHA

Pisay

Pisay is an independent film by Auraeus Solito. Pisay- a colloquial term for the Philippine Science High School, is a special school for a chosen few who are groomed to excel in the fields of Science and Engineering. The take exaggeratedly advance classes in Physics, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. What we normally learn in our Junior and Senior years in high school, they learn in their freshmen and sophomore years.

I was very eager to watch it because my two brothers- Jom and Joop are both Pisaynons. (That's a Pisay student in Ilonggo). My kuya, Jom, graduated from Pisay in 2004 and my younger brother Joop is currently in his freshman year in Pisay's Western Visayas Campus in Iloilo City. That explains my natural attachment to the Pisay world. haha

I like the movie. They have this certain togetherness that only they can understand. I can't blame them. We are like that in BA, aren't we? When we leave the premises of the college, our choice of words, manner of speaking and geeky jokes define what we've shared in our years together. When they have a friend who's struggling in class, they'll cheer him up and help him understand the lessons. That reminds me of our Pineda days.

I particularly love the character of Minggoy, their official class shutterbug! In fairness, wala pang digicam nun ha! Film pa yun, magastos! hahaha

Eugene Domingo also did a great job as their Physics professor Miss Casas. She has this accent that we can connect to Ma'am Valmoria, only better.
"Hypowtesis"
Parang she's Bisaya who speaks good English. Yes, the grammar is correct. Just the accent.

The blue lab gown is one of their trademarks. I remember when Jom was required to bring a blue lab gown to school, my mom couldn't find one! Everything in the medical stores were in white so she had to patahi Jom's lab gown.

They also used the Dagitlab language- the reverse of Baligtad. Most notable line was "Egis, p're!" or "Sige, pare" in our normal Filipino.

I got teary in many parts of the movie for many reasons. Their friendship is amazing, their struggle in their classes is familiar, and their togetherness until graduation is just super touching. It was pure nostalgia while watching the graduation scene. I felt tears, just like the time I witnessed Jom graduate. I was standing quite far from the stage, looking at him in a crowd of blue togas, holding his diploma and beaming like a kid. I cried. My mom did, too. haha

Pisay is fun to watch. Even if you're not an alumnus of the school, the message is universal. it's friendship strengthened by memories and tested by time. it's fighting for your dream. it's following your heart.

Quod Erat Demonstrandum. Proving what you say with action.

Losing everything

Losing everything when there was nothing at all in the first place.

Did you ever miss your friend so much even if he/she is just there? That's exactly how I feel. And last night, I tried to address this dilemma. It's been weeks since our last real conversation. Over the silence weeks, my friend made decisions I did not see coming but I still let it go. I have no idea what is happening in my friend's life. So wanting (maybe desperately) to catch up, I called my friend.

Would you happen to be wide awake and would want to talk tonight?
I'm wrapping up a movie.
*some other forgotten and unheard conversation*
So, wanna meet up?
Thanks but I'm having fun.

I didn't know how to react. I felt I lost all my pride when I got turned down. My friend hasn't been catching up for weeks and I make the call.
I RAN AFTER YOU TO SAVE US.

YOU TELL ME YOUR OTHER FRIENDS DID NOT TRY TOO MUCH TO KEEP THE FRIENDSHIP.

Look who's talking.

Yay to the boss!

This morning, 10 junior BA people participated in Procter & Gamble's Consumer is Boss competition. Fa and I arrived 3rd and 4th respectively. Raisia was there already and also some Ateneo guy. Our first adventure was the hi-tech coffee maker. The kuya was very nice and he taught us how to use it but I asked him to make our coffee just so we avoid destroying the machine. The coffee-cream-sugar-milo vendo was also cute! hahaha

We were on SUPER COMPETITIVE mode! It was sort of a 'choose your own story' game wherein your next set of choices will depend on the first choice that you made. At the end of four rounds, we had to present it to Miss Joy and Miss Jane (ata), the bosses of CMK (Consumer marketing knowledge). Miss Jane pala was the lady who welcomed us sa front desk and also the lady whom Raisia and I was with at the washroom. Hahaha she wished us luck pa! hahaha Big time pala si Kumareng Jane. hahaha During the panel presentation, we nailed the questions naman. And they even said we talked too fast but hello? They had a two-minute limit and if we fail to do it, they'll cut us! hahaha talk about time pressure.

Not in photo: Trixie Rodriguez and Mau Usacdin

WINNERS! Team Hire Me won third. That's us-Fa, Trixie, Mau, Raisia and I. We got Php 5000 worth of electronic gift checks from Ayala Malls. Team Think Tank won first! That's Barnett, Tash, Cha, Peter and Mark. They got Php 15 ooo worth of Ayala electronic GC's. YAY!!! BA teams won the competition! Everybody happpeeeey! We also had a tour of their office. To echo Raisia, IT'S PHENOMENAL!
This is their cycling AND conference room where you can work out while meeting with your colleagues.

The 'Everest' meeting room. Romy Garduce was a P&G-er. :)
This is the pantry. That's they newest addition to their toys- the Wii. They also have the hoops thing that we see in arcades.

It's a play and work sort of ergonomics. Basta, you've got to see it talaga! It made me even more hungry for a P&G internship. HUWAW!

STARTING THE REVOLUTION

First first!
A SUPAH CONGRATULATIONS TO THE EL CONQUISTADORES

Pat, Tim, Jay-ar, Bobit and James for winning the UP in Smoke Marketing competition. Super galing nila, promise! Congratulations also to Migs who organized the competition. Anyway, take note! They got two 100% ratings from two of our judges. hello hello? And during the question and answer part, Ma'am Guevara was actually speechless.
"I, i, i, I like it!"

Well, I can't be more proud because you see, this is our batch's second victory in two years. They also bagged BAC's first marketing competition sponsored by the Asian Eye Institute. So hello? Ang astig diba? And of course, batch support was tremendous! May skit-ish role pa kami! hahahaha

RISE UP: Rebolusyong Itinatakwil ang Sigarilyong Epidemia sa U.P.

They got medals, certificates, Php 20,000 and the prestige of course! So we've decided to take the cash and let the boys take the prestige. wahahahaha!

Dinner at Shakey's was super fun. Everyone was there! Juniors, BAC, friends. Yay!

We then moved to our own little groupies. Raisia, Fa, Ian, Dianne and I moved to Cantina to meet Myka and Anne. They are Ian and Raisia's childhood friends who are now in Ateneo. It was a super fun conversation. Sakit sa ulo tumawa. hahaha

After that, FA and I went to Paradigm to check out the DOTA boys. OMG UP-wide na and DOTA org nila! Pets and Pindoy were there. of course the Juniors. Jon from Archi was there. And Marco, the honorary member from Ateneo. Powerhouse member base kayo ha!

Since we have no business watching DOTA there, Fa and I walked back to McDonald's to have dessert. Syempre the usual bonding stuff. We saw M.E. people- ahem ahem, Gerald. hahaha

When I got home, I had the greatest shock of my life. (Di naman shock because he as calling me na while I was in the cab) My tito was there and upon entering the house, I got a sermon. I do not wish to elaborate but let's just say I made my point and said my piece just so he knows. I cried in the shower and let the water run so I could calm myself. I thought I'd call my mom first thing in the morning but no! She messaged me and asked what's up. So I called her and reported what happened. I told her MY TITO WOULDN'T LISTEN TO ME. HOW WILL HE UNDERSTAND?!?!? I am a student. I have lots to do with so little time. I don't even have time to sleep. And when I get home you scold me just like that. I AM NOT ON DRUGS. AND SO WHAT IF I WENT HOME VIA A CAB. I'M HOME ALIVE AND WHOLE. WTF?! TELLING ME TO SHUT UP? I bet he's mad because I am the only person who does not get intimidated with what he says. AKO LANG ANG MATAPANG NA MAGSASALITA. No wonder he always argues with his girlfriend. BECAUSE HE DOES NOT LISTEN. I was crying the whole time on the phone, I was struggling to catch my breath because after winning a tough marketing competition with your batchmates, you'd be greeted by a f*ckung sermon. I AM NOT PERFECT. BUT I AM NOT STUPID. I WILL FIGHT FOR WHAT I KNOW WHEN I AM RIGHT. THE CURRENT ACADEME IS MUCH MORE COMPETITIVE THAT IT WAS DURING YOUR ANCIENT TIME. SO YOU CAN'T IMPOSE YOUR TRADITIONS ON ME. I APOLOGIZED BUT THAT WAS OUT OF RESPECT. MY MOM TAUGHT ME WELL. I WILL NEVER FORGET TO RESPECT YOU. BUT IF YOU WANT TO UNDERSTAND ME, THEN LEARN TO LISTEN. IF YOU JUST WANNA SCOLD ME AND NOT HEAR ME OUT, THEN LET IT REST. I HAVE OTHER THINGS TO DO.

After my Mom, I called Fa. Eto nananananaanaman eh...

HINDI MO KASI NAIINTINDIHAN!

Laughter is the best medicine

I've been laughing all night after reading Raisia's
latest blog entry, "Mabenta si 'Day". I don't want to spoil the fun so just go read it.

This afternoon, I told my friends about the blog and laughed so hard again. I miss laughing until my stomach hurt. Also, during Finance class, our batchmate Nem campaigned 'coz he's running for USC councilor. His closing words were "Again, don't forget my nem, Nem Cañete for USC councilor." I didn't even wait for him to finish. I was already laughing so hard even my classmates were wondering what the hell is so hilarious. I bet they were laughing because of I was laughing, not because they found Nem's tagline funny. OMG suuuper benta.

So there, those are the two things that made me laugh so hard I realized I haven't laughed that much for quite a long time.

If the world gets its daily dose of laughter, then it's gonna be much better place.

ayoko naaaaa

To echo Fa's eternal words...

PAKAMATAY NALANG KAYA AKO.

I'm stupid to have waited. It was freaky. JJs all over the place. You don't know how agonizing it is to wait. Every minute, I feared for my life. There was even a JJ who fell on the floor of the BA steps just beside where I was sitting. He was calling a name, but there's no one in the place except me and a group of skater kids. For a few seconds I thought he was gonna jump at me and stab me. Kuya guard protected me from some JJs. He shooed them away.

It's just wrong.

Yahey

I arrived in school just in time for the test run for the computerized voting this coming elections. Before I started my 'job', I walked to the washroom and guess what? I passed by President Emerlinda Roman! I greeted her with a cheery 'Hi Ma'am!' and she replied with a graceful "Hello!". Yah, I was starstuck. haha

Yay! I am enjoying every minute of my COMELEC work. Although I sometimes get sad because I want to campaign for some of my friends. And sometimes, people tell me I should have ran for council nalang. But it's all good. I love COMELEC! Yay! I tried the computerized system and it's really cool and easy to use! So people, vote vote vote! The meeting was also fun. Sir Manuel was kalog, Kuya Kitch was very accommodating, Pets was makulit, Ma'am Los Baños was joking with us too!

I had lunch with Dianne, Emm and Nica at Rodic's. Sayang Tim wouldn't lend us his car. hahaha He sort of doesn't trust that we'll be taking good care of his car.

While waiting for Finance class to start, I went to get a drink from the snack bar and I bumped into Dean Echanis! It was the first time I actually saw her in the 3rd floor of BA. She was touring a guest too, just like President Roman this morning. Our quiz was canceled! Buti nalang talaga because I wasn't really able to study since I went home from a round of drinks last night. haha Dianne's phone got lost sa CR. She forgot to take it after doing her thing. She realized it around 10 minutes later. :(

Anyway, I sat with bored people at the back lobby just to kill time during Finance class. Pindoy, Marlowe, Nica (Marquez) and Rhett were joking. "Ang sama niyo! Ganyan na ba ang mga estudyante ngayon? Paano na ang future ng Philippines? tsk tsk Migs, Weng, Emm and I just laughed. A few minutes later, people started to join us. There was Kyle, Nica Yan, Pat and Tim who sat with us and ate chips. Then sina Marlowe started joking again. hahaha

Socio class was waaaay boring. Fa sat with us in class. Ang kuleeeet nila ni Kyle. hahaha Dianne left early to pick up her lost but found phone at BA! woot woot to the honest people of BA! I felt the need to pee so I excused myself in class and started my journey to the ladies' room which is at the opposite side of AS. At the AS lobby, I saw familiar faces- Joseph Gutierrez, Leslie Huang, Raymund Li, Sherry Tismal and this lady whose back was facing me. When she noticed Leslie waving at me, she looked to my direction. It's CLAUDE ARAGON! We ran and hugged talaga! I miss her naaaa! I had to posptone my banyo break and accompany them to our room to say hi to Kyle and Fa. Suweet! Awww, I just love it when BA people meet. hahaha

Just when I got back from the restroom, Fa and Kyle decided to leave class since Ma'am was declaring overtime again. Hahaha

♥ ♥ ♥

I must admit, today is better than yesterday. I am happier and I warmly returned the hugs I received. I saw the person I really miss. And to top it all, I didn't expect it but I was offered the hug I was waiting for. *wink wink*

Valentimes

Everyday is an opportunity to give and accept love.
It isn't only on Valentine's day. I'm single as I've always been so what better way to spend the 14th but with my single friends as well? Yay!

Since last year, something memorable would always to me and my friends during Valentine's. Last year was the much publicized badminton turned Dianne's BLIND date. Literally blind ah! For those of you who didn't know, well, Kyle smashed the shuttlecock and hit Dianne's left eye right at the center. So there, we spent the afternoon at Medical City and then set for a road trip to Antipolo with Kyle just to make sure Dianne gets home safe. Happy anniversary Dianne and Kyle!

This year, it was one hell of a ride. hahaha I don't exactly have the liberty to divulge what happened. One thing's for sure, it was the happiest and most breath-taking ride of our lives. By us, I mean Emm, Punky, Dianne and myself. Hahahaha

Before I forget, I sort of got rave reviews about what I wore to school today. Haha! Wala lang, I just wanted to try something different this day so I wore shorts a little 'shorter' than the usual and my white Blair-ish top. Si Javie nga may hirit pa eh,
"Ok suot mo today ah."
Me: "Niloloko mo ba ako?"
Javie: "Etong mukhang to, marunong ba tong manloko? :)) Di nga, ok nga eh." :P

Caloi was really sweet. He gave all the girls Kisses (the chocolate). I really appreciated it. Then Tim was really nice. He gave his "girlfriends" roses from the S.E. Men. Since Emm is unofficially a girl, he also gave Emm a rose. hahaha

The 14th happens to be the happiest Law class ever, too! Ma'am Geli was late so we took the opportunity to greet our friends and classmates a happy valentine's day. We had a fun and somewhat interesting report from Juancho's group. The best part was when JPIAns dropped by and serenaded our professor. I don't really understand why they sang 'Escape' by Enrique Iglesias. The class sang along rin. Then here comes Jep Olazo, with a rose. He walked straight to where Nica Yan was sitting and gave the rose. He sang "Ligaya" by Eraserheads. The whole time, Nica (in white) was covering half her face, looking everywhere but the front and desperately wishing that the earth will eat her up right at that moment. Hahaha But the winner was Emm! He was also serenaded. They sang "Crazy for You" which happens to be his (or her) favorite song back in high school. Yuuuki! After Law class, Vicki was also serenanded. The song was "Maling Akala" from Tim a.k.a. "C.C." hahaha

I had a different talk with Doods also. I see him in a different light now. He's such a sweet person, a really good friend. We talked about fears, our outlook in life, our valentine's day. hahaha Pero promise, no joke, iba si Doods. haha

Heniwaaaay...
My single friends Fa, Vicki, Jave, Migs, and I had dinner at Metrowalk. It was supposed to be in Eastwood however, the traffic was really bad. After dinner, we checked out the DVDs at the second floor. The boys got a lot of cd's so maybe I'll borrow from them nalang. We went back to Katipunan to grab a few drinks at Rory's. It was jam packed that day so we had to settle for the smoking area. tsk tsk (yes, my clothes, my hair, my skin smelled like smoke after.) The whole time, I was ranting to Nica that I feel like dying na. It was sort of a sad day for me. I mean, I got kilig and all that but it's nothing really special for me.

The night ended with hugs. Hugs which I hope I could have reciprocated better. But since I was too caught up with my "I'm gonna die na" moment, I wasn't able to respond very well.

Then I thought, maybe it's enough reason not to 'die' yet. ;)

Whattaday

A lot of things happened to us today (02.11.08).

First, we had lunch at Jollibee Petron in Katipunan. And there, we got into a little (silent) dispute with one of the managers. There, we also witnessed a craaazy naked woman who threw stones at cars and chased this poor lady who was innocently waiting for a jeep in Petron. tsk tsk It was a hell of an interesting moment not just for us (Fa, Punky, Dianne, Nica, Vicki, Kyle, Vincent) but also for the other people eating in the same area. On our way out, I just had to tell one of their servers
"Sabihin mo sa boss mo, wag siyang magmimeeting sa kainan kung gusto niya na tahimik."

Then I gave the server a nice smile. I was really nice, I mean, he didn't do anything to us, pero the manager just totally pissed us. WHO THE HELL DOES NOT TALK WHILE HAVING LUNCH WITH FRIENDS? AND WHY WHY WHY ARE YOU HOLDING A MEETING IN A DINING AREA IN A FAST FOOD JOINT? AND YOU SERIOUSLY EXPECT PEOPLE TO BE QUIET? FOR HEAVEN SAKE, JOLLIBEE SELLS 'TOGETHERNESS' IN THEIR ADVERTISMENTS. OF ALL PEOPLE, I'D EXPECT YOU AS THE MANAGER TO KNOW AND SUPPORT THIS IMAGE BY HEART. AND! YOU DO NOT EVER EVER EVER STARE AT YOUR CUSTOMERS. GOT THAT?

Heniwaaay... After lunch, OMG. I stood beside the wrong car!!! Shucks! This gold Altis was beside Fa's gold Vios. Thinking we were the only ones in a Gold car at the parking, I went straight to the gold Altis, and Dianne followed. I didn't even bother to see what car model it was. Basta gold, kay Fa. Imagine my horror when Nica called me. "Adz, here!"

After that embarrassing moment, we drove off, and hello world! Surprise surprise! I saw an old lady, peeing behind the car door or a silver Vios parked just beside the basement parking exit of Petron. Totally disgusting moment for all of us. You do not pee behind a door. At the very least, open the other door too! (Mag tago ka naman sa gitna!)

After our quiz in HR and a heart stopping (for me) recitation in Law, we decided to attend the UP fair. OMG, First time namin ni FA! It was torture to line up. The line felt like forever. It was winding at the Sunken Garden all the way up the academic oval. Council people arrived and penetrated the line. Fortunately, we had Don (of Pan Xenia Fraternity) at the entrance so he was able to sneak us in! Yahooo! We just said we're all BAC. hahaha

I thought Pets (our BAC Chair) does not know me but he was so nice to even remember an incident where I helped this old man in the Philcoa jeep. Pets clearly recalled every detail of it, I didn't even recognize he was paying attention.
"May kwento ako tungkol kay Adz. Alam niyo ba sobrang bait ni Adz." -Pets Carbonell
Na flatter ako, seryoso. *tears* no joke.

So there, we walked around with council people. Some of them tried the Ferris Wheel which looked like it were the blades of an electric fan. The funny part was when they were joking for help. Yun pala, nasira nga talaga! hahaha The manong had to climb to 'fix' it pa.

"Mamaya ubos na ang council! hahaha"
Norby said pa, "P*ta, tinitingnan ko lang, nahihilo na ako." haha

After that ride, we all moved to this dragon-ish ride just a few meters away from the Ferris wheel. Jon and Pindoy were the only ones who decided not to join us. Imagine Norby and Pets joining us Juniors for one heck of a ride. hahaha It was super fun. Shouting at the top of our lungs. Trying not to hold on to the metal thingy. And with Jon taking our photos, darn! That was really fun!

Basically that was my day. It was fun! I missed spending time with council people. Those were my AuxCorps Days. I remember we (Aux) had this 'fahaymous' photo which got us published on the BA newsletter, the BA gallery and the BA lantern booth! OMG Nica, remember that photo? demmit! hahaha

By the way, we reported the manager's behavior to the Jollibee feedback hot line, 898-7777. Oh demn, they gave us a feedback alright? hahaha The manager called and apologized. "I'm sorry if I offended you kanina. I hope you still eat here at Jollibee Petron." YEAH RIGHT. The damage has been done. And what I hate about it is that this is the first time I encountered such manager in any Jollibee store. Hello? I have a high customer value with respect to Jollibee. If you're like me, who survives weekends and most of my school nights with Jollibee, you'd want to keep me 'coz I bet I've already provided maybe a million in revenue and even more in the future. BE NICE TO ME. Oh, which reminds me, they also have to be nice to "walk thrus" sa drive thru nila ha.

Fa, remember our mission? hahaha I am seriously game to do it.
* * *

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EMM!
We love you!

Emotions overload

It is a confusing and emotional day for me and a friend. My Sunday plans got canceled so I got up 3 hours after my phone alarmed for my 'date'.

I know I have enough reasons to be emotional today so here are some quotes that made me think and rethink a lot of things.

Ace: "sometimes, we get too excited of our emotions that we tend to 'over-assume' and 'over-imagine' things. In the end, not being able to meet our expectations causes us to experience grueling disappointment and most of the times, HEARTACHE."

Vicki's stat message: "And if you're lucky, if you're the luckiest person in the entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back. -Nathan Scott"

Conversation with Raisia: I feel it na, I'm gonna die soon. Just the thought of it, kills me.

Love has reasons that reason cannot know. -Pascal

Yeah yeah, THE eternal topic. But what the hell? This is my blog so let me talk okay? haha

I just feel like I'm in a sort of pattern. It's been like this ever since I can recall. I feel that every time things are really doing well, things happen, nagkakasawaan and poof! evaporated chervakles.

And I always take a chance after that. Not knowing what's in store for me. Risking everything.

Please disprove me this time. I don't want to lose this one. I'm just not ready to lose this.

And since it's a Sunday, I went to mass and prayed for my friend. Prayed for myself as well. I sort of plead to Papa God that He won't let me get hurt this time or at least, not yet. He won't let me 'die'.

Chop-chop!

Today was a lazy day.

Frustration peaked and I needed to happify myself so I went to my hairstylist Elmer at (Nature's Way Spa and Salon) and got a haircut! For quite some time I wanted a short bob, somewhat like La Greta Barretto.

I was really hesitant because nakakatamad mag blow dry everyday. But this afternoon, I wanted a haircut badly so there, I decided to get one but of course, the risk-averse version of my ideal cut. Why that version? Because I don't have all the time in world to fix my hair. And because I can't afford to hire someone with a job description of simply fixing my hair on a daily basis.

And oh, why I badly want a cut?

Let's just say I wanted to release my 'negative chi'.

I feel so sick

Actually, I am sick. I still went to school since I've got nothing to do at home, no one would take care of me naman so might as well be with my friends.

I was very hesitant to take the P&G exam today but I took it anyway. Demmit, it's a real miracle if I make it to P&G. You see, I'm not supposed to apply for an internship. But I signed up when I accompanied Fa to the job fair. They have lots of freebies ah! hahaha Anyway, if I don't make it to P&G, then I'd be happily taking PI 100 and an MST this summer term. And of course, learn how to driiiive! I am so effin' tired of commuting, I think it caused my sickness.
Stress + pollution + stress + marketing +pollution = death.
hahaha
You should understand that thinking of whether you are gonna get a good ride or have to sweat it in a steamy FX or wrestle your way in the jam packed bus is a lot of stress. I really noticed this when my dad was here last January. He'd take me to school and pick me up all the time. For the whole of January, that was my life. And I really noticed how light it feels when you do not worry about those stuff. I hope my dad realizes I need a driver. Or fine fine, I need to learn how to drive. Speaking of my dad,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! I LOOOOVE YOU!

Anyway, after the P&G exam, Fa and Migs persuaded me to go home and rest. Sorry, I am such a hard headed person even when I'm sick. I told you, wala naman difference if I go home. No one will take care of me. hahaha So Fa and I left for the registrar's office to drop her PE while Migs was left at the P&G room to take the Ayala exam. FIC green tea ice cream made me smile. I know it didn't help my sore throat but it's so yummy! (Sorry, Doc!Ü) Fa needed to gas up so we wen to Petron Katipunan where we grabbed donuts. I slept at the tambayan while everyone was talking. I didn't really care, all I wanted was to close my eyes because last night I had a hard time sleeping because I couldn't breathe.

Over law, I just slept and slept. I listened a bit then close my eyes. My gawd, I'm dying!
"Don't die, I need you." -Fa I love you, mare!

On my way home, God was really nice and I landed a pretty FX ride. It had really good air conditioning. But as I was getting off, I bumped my head! tsk tsk I got food from KFC, demmit, I'm a suki but they are sooo stupid! They didn't provide my brownies! I paid for it. I got kasi this fully loaded meal and requested for a thigh part. She gave me a breast part, and no brownies. I don't even eat mashed potatoes. Dapat yun nalang yung nawala. Fart! I realized this when I got up from my nap. Since I was too tired to complain, I ate it na rin.

It's just not my day today. But I enjoyed spending my free time with Fa. Thanks to her and Nica for the sweeeet hugs. And oh, Doc, you owe me a hug. I repeat, YOU OWE ME A HUG. hahaha

Stargazing or "stargazing"?

If you want to see people suddenly emptying their beer bottles, ask them who they stargazed with.

* * *
You don't always have to be strong. You can't be a hero to everyone.
-Nica Yan 02.05.08

* * *
a few months from now, I wanna see that coaster and absorb everything that's happened from tonight until that day.

Forgive me for the random thoughts because the alcohol's really kicking in. Head throbbing. Mind racing. Looking forward to next time.

Okay, time to sleeeep.

Oh! I just wanna say a friend and I jaywalked Katipunan Avenue at 2 in the morning! haha

Nica and Ace are quite weird tonight, in a good way that is! They both sent text messages about friendship at almost the same moment. I am flattered, really. Ü

I was talking to a friend earlier and we were discussing our philosophies.

Philosophy 1: First and last.

Philosophy 2: If it’s fine, it’s fine. If it feels right at that moment, then it’s right. If it doesn’t work out, if it’s wrong, move on.

Philosophy 3: If the first isn't the last then baka secon
d last, third last, fourth last. *laughter on the phone*

Why just now? hahaha I am a living proof of this warning. :))

Wishing you a

Happy birthday Juancho! :)

When tears mean a lot

I never thought you'll make me cry.

Thank you.

I'll miss you.

Take your time, babe.

And yes, I really care.

Just because it's unfair, doesn't mean it has to stop.

I lost my heart...jacket.

Before anything else, I wanna congratulate Emm and Cheska for a superb party at the Prince of Jaipur last night! Aylavet! I had a blast!

It's nice to know that they wanna dance with you but it feels better when you tell them they ain't gonna cross your line. *personal kwento here*

I totally enjoyed dancing with the people who I partied with for the first time. Batch mates, more ha? Nica and Raisia and all our friends, sama na next time!

Remember when I went shopping last Tuesday? The heart jacket I craved for months, that I bought that time...I lost it in the party. Emm, please please help me find it. Please ask the models and stylists. Baka they got it accidentally or got it for safekeeping. Please Emm, it means so much to me. May sentimental value yun.

Anyway, that heart has a pick up line (care of FA) which I failed to use because, one, I lost the jacket, second, wala akong pag gagamitan. It goes something like

"My heart's broken. Can you zip it and make it whole again?"

'Coz you see, the jacket has this big red heart right at the middle of the front part. *cries cries cries* Seryoso, iniiyakan ko.

I hate it when people are so paasa. They tell you they're coming so all night you wait and wait. Not even a message to let me know that I need not wait 'coz he won't show up anyway? Lagi nalang, my time adjusts to his oh-so-important schedule. And the only night I ask for his time, he doesn't show up. Boo.

I lost my heart jacket.
and my heart too.
please find it and give it back to me.
i beg.

Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK V. and STEPHEN!
We ♥ you guys!

Marketing pissed me, but Law and Don made my day

WALA MUNANG VIOLENT REACTION SA TITLE PWEDE? LET ME FINISH!

* * *

First...MARKETING. She is really getting into my nerves! GIMME A BREAK MAAAAAM! She gave our latest case digest an effin failed grade. WTF!?!?! During the whole period I kept going out of the room for 'banyo breaks' where I don't really end up reaching the restroom. I just needed time to breathe. When I had a chance during the case discussion on Downy, I didn't stop speaking until I deliver my point even if it meant her having to intervene while I was just getting to my point.
If you a have a recyclable bottle, you are not obliged to buy a refill pack that will actually FILL the bottle!!!

(But that's an opportunity loss for P&G, she said.)

But if kunyari they package them in THREE (not tree,Ma'am!) liter refills and I can't afford it, I won't buy it. That's a greater opportunity loss!!!

My heart was racing. I wanted to shut her up and let m
e finish first.

And oh, before I proceed, I just wanted to share some (effin) hindsight about our speech class under THE MARKETING PROFESSOR.

euROPE (as in yung tali.)
Are dur odur products that are environmentally friendly?
Procter & GUMBLE
I hope you appreciate my NEETY GREETY (nitty gritty)
Jumbo pack (pronounced as Joombo pack in class)

And oh, another hindsight...
HARIBON AND BODY SHOP ARE technically NOT ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY!
Haribon protects the bird species especially the Philippine Eagle. It aims to protect their existence. Meanwhile, BODY SHOP just sell products that are "NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS".

Punky: "I need a good lunch."
Me: "I need to get outta here."

Law exam was cool. I love Ma'am Geli! hahaha Oh, the Michael Jackson alarm was the bomb! :))
* * *
Anyway, enough of my rants.

Today JMA has this committee wars as part of their 50th anniversary celebration. Teams were tasked to drop their best pick-up lines to get some of our numbers (it's a unviersity-wide search). Dianne and I were those chosen for BA. So there. Some were bad. Some were fine. Others sang songs. A few begged. Ako, naawa sa iba. hahaha

If I had to choose, I'd award the funniest pick up line to Junjun Guevara. He used a past event to connect things (I need not elaborate.) Basta, something like "We had a history! And I've never added (adz-ded) someone in my life until you came!" I laughed talaga because Junjun kept insisting na for friendship's sake, I'd sign their sheet. hahaha! It was korny but Junjun looked funny so there, I signed it.

However, if I had to choose the best gesture, it would be Don Ingal's team. He may be the last to approach me but it sure was the best. He came with a white (yes, WHITE! It's my favorite!) rose and with Rikoy. Rikoy was nice (we met before sa AdCore). And Don had the time for some chitchat pa. Which is nice kasi he didn't pressure me to sign.

I used to think flowers are a waste of money since they just dry up after a couple of days.

I think I take it back. :)

For the simple reason that regardless of intention (this case, accomplish the task), it's really nice to have that sweet thing pop out of nowhere in the middle of the day and with a good luck greeting before the Law exam. I appreciate the effort.
Bia, Don's team deserves to win the points! hahaha (as if Bia's gonna see this.)

P.S. I have no HD's or whatsoever on Don nor Junjun. hahaha
(Don, reunion naman ng Saturday "classmates". haha)
