It's Christmas already!

Has it really been a year? Crazy! Every December, I try to recall my best memories of the year and very often it come up with something that happened during the summer. Not a fling (unfortunately) HAHA This 2013 it's going up the Cordillera Region and exploring 5 of its 6 provinces. Aaaahhh... You guys have to go there!

Anyway, posting my annual wishlist.

These are mostly stuff on my own shopping list that I don't mind receiving as gifts.

1. Headware! Light, quick-drying, and multi-use. Perfect for my adventures.  http://www.theheadware.com/files/theme/headware-2013-catalog.pdf

2. J. Maxwell and other business / leadership books. Before agreeing to attend UP for college, my dad promised that if I still want to pursue MBA, he will send me to Ateneo. Four years in business school and I don't want to take MBA anymore. I'd rather take special education or art studies. But since I work with my dad, I try my best to make up for skipping graduate studies by reading these books. Eventually I plan to put the books in the office so my officemates can borrow it. I wish they do. Coz I would hate to tell them what they should have or shouldn't have done.

3. Washi tapes. I still like them. I don't get to use them a lot though. Right now I mainly use them to post documents in my cubicle. It helps me enjoy my work desk more.

4. Food! Royce chocolate chip and truffle oil. These are items I can't afford on a regular basis. HAHA! I like eating Royce Nama and potato chips separately. I can only imagine what happens when they're combined. Now the truffle oil, imagine scrambled eggs with a dash of truffle oil for breakfast. Aaaah!

5. Donations. Doesn't matter how much. You don't even have to tell me about it.

Typhoon Yolanda destroyed the Visayas. I'm sad that very little attention is given to provinces in Panay island. I do know that Red Cross has presence in these areas. NVC is based in Bacolod but has a solid network in the Visayas. I also like NVC's other projects such as sponsoring a classroom or providing boats to fishing villages. (If you're interested, a boat costs 20k, that's the motorized boat plus environmental conservation fees. Plus you get to name the boat! hihi) On the other hand, I am happy to hear some grade school acquaintances based in Iloilo have relief operations of their own. I hope I see some of them when I visit for Christmas to ask how we can send more help.

I hope we are kinder not just during Christmastime. You know, try to warm a heart every chance you get. Give the beggar something to eat or better yet take her to the food place. Offer your seat to an oldie or someone who looks so tired. Smile at people in the store even if you refuse their offer. Buy your village guards a bag of hot pandesal just because. Thank the servers every time they refill your glass of water, or the guard who opens the door for you. Little acts of kindness go a long way, guys! It restores faith in humanity, it makes someone's day brighter, it makes you happy knowing you have been a good person today, everyday.

Wishing you all a meaningful Christmas season. :)

5 THINGS!

LIMITING MYSELF TO 5 MATERIAL THINGS ON MY LIST! Why? Because I have been very blessed this year that I don't need so much. hehe I'm (really) trying to become a simple girl. Char!

Here goes!

1. MAC Mattenne lipstick in Deliciously forbidden - because it's a pretty shade of pink.

2. Body Shop lip and cheek tint - because powder blushes can get quite messy.

3. Shiq bag- in green

4. Moonleaf planner - because it's pretty. :)

5. Majolica Majorca lash expander mascara

Papasa na ba akong simple girl? Hahaha Kalokohan!

Merry Christmas everyone! I'll post my non-material wish list in a bit! :)

WISH KO LANG!

Merry Christmas everyone! Just posting some snippets from Twitter.

Earlier I listed my wishes this Christmas. The photo is too small. Here's what's written.

That we will all love our country a little more so that we can all start building this nation together.

That working friends find the work-life balance we all want.

That friends who are still in school stay inspired and focused so that one day they will finally see the fruits of their hard work.

That those who feel lost will have patience and finally find where they really belong.

That we may all travel and discover things about our destination and ourselves.

That we may all find answers, even if the answer is 'no'.

That everyone's families stay happy and healthy so that we can all make more memories together! :)

And finally (and most especially)… That all my single friends receive the love they deserve at the perfect time.

The responses I got are sooo cute! Here are some of them.

(She's refering to the 6th wish.)

I am seriously hoping that all my wishes come true. :)

Happy birthday Jesus! I hope you're havin' a blast! Thanks for being there even if I'm not the kindest person in the world. You've never turned your back on me and I know you never will. You never tire of listening to my prayers even if they're the same every night. That's why you are amazing. Sending my hug to the heavens! :))

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I've started wrapping my gifts already! Although I still don't have one for Mom, Jom, Sarah and Julian.

I really enjoy wrapping stuff. I love doing the plastic covers of my books, notebooks, giveaways and yes, gifts! Despite loving wrapping gifts, I still scrimp on the wrapper itself. I just buy whatever 'okay' wrapper there is. Of course, there comes a point when you're not satisfied with just wrapping something properly. I've moved to wrapping stuff beautifully!

This year, I vowed to not scrimp on wrappers. I even bought ribbons to match them. LOVE IT SO MUCH! And I love tying ribbons too! Not everyone appreciates little details such as how nicely ribbons are wrapped but for the sake of satisfying my wrapping-OC-ness (yes, exclusive to wrapping because I don't consider myself OC), I still spend so much time typing and retying the ribbon until I manage that only the shiny side of the ribbon appears and that the tails end up right where they're supposed to be.

Finally found use for the rubber stamps I bought on impulse at ArtFriend in Singapore.

It is sad sometimes that people just slash the ribbon off the gift as soon as they receive it. HAHA I'm not holding any grudges though. The ribbons are meant to be removed and the wrappers, to be torn. I guess I just want to say that thoughts are placed not only in the choice of gift but also in the way the gift is presented.

This year it's gold-chocolate-forest green. I really really love this color combination.
Hmmm, maybe I should have themes every year. haha

From now on, I'm wrapping my gifts in the best wrappers I can find. I'm not gonna settle for jologs wrappers because it's not everyday we can give gifts. Might as well do a 'total package'.

Now that I think about it, I guess it's one reason why I enjoy buying gifts* even if it's sooo stressful to find the perfect ones (yes, I had to order glow-in-the-dark drumsticks from the States for my brother Joop). Because I have something to wrap. :)

*I'm the only one in the family who gives gifts. My dad has shifted to giving us cash. My brothers are the most barat ever. My mom takes care of us all year round. She doesn't need to give us gifts.

MY CHRISTMAS LIST!

It's been a tradition for me to write a wish list for two reasons. First, to keep track of the things I want/need at this moment and second, to help my friends or relatives decide in case they're planning to give me a gift. HAHA

But seriously, wala lang talaga. I just wanna gauge if my wishes are improving over the years. I haven't really thought about doing comparisons though. Maybe in a few more years. Anyway, here goes!

My material wish list:

1. SPECK see through satin for my mac (in red please)2. Aquazorb body towel
3. Gift certificates from Ayala, Rustan's, Healthy Options and SM!
4. Suelas Punterea flats in gray, size 8.5
5. Nice journals/ doodle notebook (no lines) –It doesn’t have to be a Moleskin coz their price is ridiculous.
6. Metallic gel pens to write on the journals
7. DVDs of iWitness documentaries (They’re at Powerbooks!)
8. Happy hoodie in panda or bee design (call Oliver or Trixie!)
9. Sebago shoes (navy-white, red-white or light gold), size 9
10. Archie Comics. I miss reading them. I used to rent from this small bookstore downtown or swap with my classmates in grade school.
11. Cute fabric covered file holders from fabmanila or at Heima.
12. Unique watches (i.e. Normal watch brand or lego)
13. Kerastase Bain Satin shampoo or masque
14. Victoria's Secret Shea butter soft embrace mist
15. Samsonite or Delsey lightweight luggage
16. Sony Cybershot TX9 or iPod touch
18. Prada bag (Tim Humangit, bilhan mo ako please! It’s half the price of THAT BAG. Hahahaha hello Emm!)
19. Sunglasses (with square-ish lenses). (David Yurman, Rayban or Oakley)
20. Coffee table books about beautiful houses, different countries, or the Philippines

(Photo searched on Google)
My intangible wish list:

1. That the Philippines can recover from the heartbreaking (and stupid) hostage issue.
2. That P-Noy will finally step up and spearhead major major changes for this country.
3. That Filipinos will love this country and do pure and honest work for its development. (That we will be Filipinos more than just on paper.)
4. That corrupt people can just fade from the face of the earth so that the good will reign.
5. That we will all live better lives.
6. Good health for the people that I love and those who love me.
7. More memories with my family and friends.
8. That I maintain ties with my friends and start meeting new ones.
9. That I can contribute to this country in a significant way (which I have yet to figure out).
10. Finally, for the right one at the right time.

I'M EXCITED TO START SHOPPING FOR GIFTS! I've already started actually but I'm far from completing it because, like every year, I find it difficult to think of a gift for the boys aka my dad and kuya. Joop is easy to please. I already know what he wants this Christmas. Ever since I can remember, I'm the only person who gives gifts in the family. Mom and Dad gives each of us cash, my kuya never gives anything (hahaha!) and my brother Joop never tries. I had to pressure him to buy me my Belle de Jour once. Tapos 500 lang daw babayaran niya, ako na bahala sa kulang. HAHAHA KAMOTE. So I have no plans to stop giving gifts. Boring pag walang namimigay ng regalo.

I leave you with the very nice 2009 Christmas song from ABS-CBN.

My first Christmas Project!

First of all, for the nth time, I'd like to thank everyone who took part in this project. Including those who showed interest even if they weren't able to make it. Your interest really inspired me to push through with the project.

Second, to those who made it- Issa, Andy, Punky and Wenggay. You guys are superb!

Third, to those who donated stuff. Sir Nestle for the five boxes of shampoo, to Claude for the many baby stuff, to Aleli for the diapers, to Punky for the cleaning stuff, to Weng for the Nestle products and to Andy for the cotton goods.

Anyway back to the day of the visit. Imagine my horror when our only carpool backed out that morning. I was panicking but I told my friend it was fine. I really couldn't blame her coz it was for academic reasons. I prayed, prayed so hard that today will be smooth despite the lack of transpo. That we'd find a cab who can take us there.

While getting dressed, another friend said she can't make it but will meet me to drop off her donations. I got sad coz I was hoping we could catch up during the visit but I said it was fine. I was also frantically texting Issa to tell her about the lack of car, and then asked if she could get me lunch at McDo. She then told me she'll try to ask a cab to take us to the orphanage. I told her to offer a maximum of 500 pesos 'kontrata' trip. I was that desperate to get a transpo for us.

Minutes later, Issa messaged me saying she got a cab who agreed to take us there for 250 pesos ONLY! And she didn't have a hard time talking to the driver.

For me it was a miracle. Call me exage but I think my prayers were answered right at that moment.

The four of us- Issa, Weng, Andy and I made our way to the orphanage. The taxi driver was very nice. And he knew where we were going. Amazing.

We arrived at the orphanage on time. The nuns and helpers greeted us happily. And then we started playing with the kids. The kids were very sweet. They kept hugging us. It was very heartwarming.

I chatted with one of the nuns and asked about the kids. They're temporarily staying at the orphanage until they recover from their illness. These kids are from the poorest families in the slums of Manila. Some were abandoned. Some had drug addict parents. The nuns really feels sorry for the kids. Sister said they tried to provide livelihood for the parents of the kids but nothing succeeded. She said the parents were contented in their way of life- begging other people for alms to feed their family. It's really sad to hear because these kids could have a good future if their parents sacrifice a little more.

Anyway, I just really pray that there will be hope for the children.

Here are the photos.

Issa carrying Kim. Leleng hugs her.
Punky and Nina.
us!

I hope you can join us in our next project. yay!

New Wishlist

Yes, I have a new material wishlist hahaha

1. Book: The Tropical House - Cutting edge design in the Philippines
I'm hoping Joop gets me this book but he's hesitant coz it's worth Php1995. haha

2. Book: 100 cities of the World (by Falko Brenner) Php 795 (I think I'll ask this one from Joop instead of the one aforementioned.)

3. Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn books - in original covers (not the movie cover) What better way to feel 'in love' than read and reread the Twilight series? haha

4. Kimmy Dora original DVD - I just loooove Eugene Domingo.

5. Travel with my family (this was in my original list)

SUPER KADUPER LAPIT NA NG PASKO! Merry Christmas everyone!

Kwento kwento lang

Literally. haha I'm so stressed and I haven't really thought about things lately so I'll just kwento stuff.

ORPHANAGE VISIT
Yesterday Ana, Mau and I visited the orphanage in Binondo. It was all good except the part where the tricycle driver charged us 100 pesos for the ride from Ongpin to DelPan. I was so pissed but I believe in karma so Manong Driver, mamalasin ka rin one day. Or malay ko ba minamalas ka na kaya dinadaya mo na rin yung mga taong tulad namin.

The nuns were so accommodating. The Indian nun who showed me their grocery list even reminded me that we need not donate everything on the list. She said something like "Whatever you can give, even if it's a small thing, we are very grateful for the blessing." She kept repeating "That's very nice of you and your friends to help us here."

Anyway after the visit we made our way back to Quezon City. It was a very tiring ride because it was rush hour and well, Manila does not have the widest roads so it took us 1.5 hours to get from Quiapo to Trinoma.

STICKER-HAPPY
After dinner we went to Starbucks in the garden of Trinoma. I was telling my friends to give me their stickers if they don't have plans of getting a planner. Then this guy on the next table approached and said "excuse me, nagcocollect ka ba ng stickers?" Shempre I was surprised! In my mind I was thinking 'Shet maybe he's selling his stickers to me. SCALPER?! NO WAY!' So nag inarte ako and replied "Uhh, yeah...-ish." HAHAHAHA Then he said "You can have my sticker card. Pwede naman i-combine yung cards eh." So I accepted it and thanked him nicely. SOOO AWKWARD! Buti nalang cute siya. haha But minutes later, a girl arrived and left with him. haha oh well papel. Such a sweetie.

ORGANIC SOAPS
I purchased my organic soaps online and met up with the seller today at SM Fairview. Organic soaps don't come cheap. Each bar sells from Php95 to 125. I wanted to try these because I guess I just got bored with the commercial soaps (my staples are Johnson's citrus fresh, Safeguard white, Biolink papaya soap which all sell for less than 40 pesos each).

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING
I'm not halfway my Christmas shopping. I've only bought gifts for my Mom and Joop. Sooo hard to think of gifts! haha

RED RIBBON
If you love bangus, you have to try Red Ribbon's bangus ala pobre. Super yummy, super cheap! For Php 137, you get the bangus meal, a drink and a slice of cake for dessert. yehey!

FOOTWEAR
Found really cute and affordable oxford leather flats at Manel's. I didn't buy it coz I wanna finish my Christmas shopping first. I'll buy for myself last. hehe

I'm really loving the Christmas spirit! I just wish it's colder, like back in senior year, there was a certain month (or months) that I'd wear a jacket and socks to sleep! In school I was always in jeans and a jacket. It was even colder outside our air-conditioned classroom. Feeling ko winter! I really miss that time.

RENOVATIONS...AGAIN
Mom called me up two nights ago to tell me to shove all our stuff in the room before I leave because the house will be renovated again. This time it's gonna be the floor. The crazy cut marble floor will be replaced by uhh, probably huge granite tiles. It's not that I don't like but this is another waste of time. Our floor is as good as new. Really! No cracks at all. It's the only reminder that this house is 'old' (in a good way). And I hate it that they're changing it! My mom hates it too coz it's an unnecessary change and a waste of money.

GLOBE
I hate Globe for a crappy service! Weeks ago when dad and I traveled to Bicol, I was using mobile web to tweet and check my emails. I was aware of their two ways of charging mobile browing- the default is kb browsing which charges you per kilobyte sent, and then time browsing that charges Php 5 for 15 minutes. Of course I switched to time browsing (send TIME to 1111). Then I got a notification today that my bill is 2500! LIKE WTF?! I am sooo gonna get to the bottom of this and crucify them. hahahaha oveeeerr?! Ah basta, I hate Globe for cheating on their subscribers. Good thing the message they sent me about having switched to time browsing is still on my phone. Patay talaga kayo sa akin. haha

Anywaaaay, dapat good vibes na! Christmas is super near and I'm excited! For that I'll try to tweet about things that I love. Pang dagdag good vibes diba? This 'tweet what you love' was inspired by my friend since grade school Chris Orleans. haha

(Btw I watched New Moon again this afternoon shet. hahaha Will kwento my experience tomorrow.)

AMAZING!

As early as now, I really want to thank my friends who responded to my email. It is very heartwarming to know they're willing to help. I got twelve yeses in 24 hours and two more today. I mean that's a lot considering I only emailed a few friends for this project.

I'm so excited to do my ocular visit on Monday. Or maybe I should call them nalang. Bahala na. All I want is for this to be meaningful. Not only for me but for everyone who's coming.

Spread the love everyone!

UPDATE!

My tooth operation pushed through in the afternoon. I AM SOOO DEPENDENT ON PAINKILLERS. Not because it's painful but because I don't wait to reach the point where I'd feel the pain. hihi

I wanna volunteer for the relief operations but I can't because of my operation. I shouldn't be doing strenuous stuff for a few days because my stitches might bleed. Imagine a bleeding mouth while doing relief operations diba? hahaha

I also need to save up na for a new phone. I wanted to use the iphone that dad gave me last year. It's been just an itouch to me since that time because I can't seem to adjust to the querty touch screen and the chat type SMS. I would have wanted it converted but they said it'll erase all the files in it. hohum. I'm thinking I'll use it nalang when my current cheap (free!) Ericsson phone retires for good and then get a new phone when I have enough funds for it.

Lots of plans for Christmas! Lots of plans, lack of funds that is. HAHAHA But before Christmas, sembreak muna! Mau, Carms, Ana, Kara and I are planning a Baguio trip for THEIR sembreak. I hope it pushes through. I haven't been to Baguio in 12 years (i think). It changed a lot na, that I'm sure. But still.

And finally, I am so effin excited for Monday! Because Monday is TELESERYE day. Hahaha I'm baduy like that. haha And to my loves Nica and Elai, here's our favorite scene of the moment. Happy kilig-ing! :D

Dahil malapit na ang Pasko...

Ilalagay ko ang wish list ko. hahaha

Pero bago yun...CONGRATULATIONS AJA! ABAM-JFA-AdCore for winning this year's orgpres AGAIN! EXAGE NAPAKAGALING!!!

Okay, back to my wish list... hehe I always have a wish list but I have never 'completed' any of the lists I made. But it's all good. It serves as a motivation for me to save up and buy the things that I didn't receive as gifts. hehe

Now my wish list has two parts, as always. Material and Non-material. haha Write your own too! I'm looking forward to reading them hehe :D

1. REEBOK EASY TONE FLIP FLOPS
I guess I'm tired of Havaianas already. Everyone I know has at least one pair. In three years, I've had 7 pairs and only 2 are left. The rest have been damaged beyond repair. HAHA! The Reebok easy tone flip flops has a special feature. It tones your legs 11% and glutes 28% more while you do your normal walk and even when you're standing. Great to wear to the mall diba?Para ka na rin nag gym. haha

2. Birkenstock Gizeh in Golden Brown
My dad and I were in Trinoma last week and to my surprise, he entered Birkenstock because he said he needed a new pair of sandals. I asked if the sandals are for the Palawan trip in October. He said...Hindi, pangbahay. GRABE LANG, NAHIMATAY AKO. HAHAHA He found what he wanted but didn't buy it yet. YEHEY! Makikisabay ako pag bibilhin na niya. Hahaha

3. New Lens for my Nikon D60.
(The SLR btw, was on my 2008 wish list. Yun lang yung nagkatotoo but it took like 6 months before I had it. haha) I dunno why I want this. I just feel like it's the next step when you have a camera. But it's fine if I don't get this. I'm happy with my 18-55mm lens.

4. Sebago Rally Moccasins
Recently I'm liking loafers A LOT. It started when Dad got me my Hush Puppies Bayside loafers last April. Now I've been searching for more amazing pairs of loafers- I now have 3 but nothing compares to my Bayside pair. I have one from Charles&Keith and another from ShoeBox. Wala, failed sa standards ko. With my HP Bayside , I can walk for hours and not have aching legs and blisters on my feet. The two other pairs- well, one cramped my feet and then one gave me 'pinched' skin after a 4 hours of wearing it. But I still wear them. Sayang naman eh. Ho hum, there really is a price to pay for comfort. haha

5. Vacation with my family. It's been a loooong time since we traveled for vacation as a complete family. The last Bicol vacation, my kuya was left here in Manila because he had school (boohoo trimester). Now there's Julian and Sarah also. :) (I don't care if it's a local destination or out of the country. I just want to spend 'stress free' time with them.)

That's it for my material wish list. Lots of footwear no? That's because shoes are my original loves. And also because I'll be doing a lot of 'moving around' soon so I need nice footwear. I actually have a lot more in mind for my material wish list. We can't have enough gifts right? haha Like...I want a wii, a classic Chanel 2.55, a ring I'll purchase with my own money- but then again I have to be realistic and practical. Can't afford Chanel yet. Will save up for my ring. And the Wii will be useless here at home. hehe

Now for my non-material wish list...
1. Constant communication with my college friends.
2. That I will be able to handle the responsibilities that will be given to me next year so that my boss will be proud of me. haha
3. That I will find what I've always been looking for.
4. That more Filipinos will love the Philippines.
5. And because of that love, I wish that Filipinos will be wise in their decisions so that the 2010 Elections will be clean, honest and promising.

There goes my 2009 wish list. I had fun 'limiting' it to 5 per category. haha

Happy wish-listing! Mwah!

BLOG-DUMP

Due to my unexplainable avoidance of the computer, I have accumulated quite a collection of topics for this blog. But now that I have the energy to type, imma put them all here.now.

NEW ADS
I can't get over the new ads on tv. Not that I love them all but you know, it's crazy when they all start flashing on prime time and lunch break shows. Here are my picks!

BPI's new ad- "Brand New Day". We're changing the rules on banking. That's the message they're shouting to the world. it is sooo effing amazing. BPI revamped their banking system from 3-day check clearance to REAL TIME clearance. From atm replacement and check encashment in your home branch to any branch. It's amazing.

MERALCO's Christmas ad. Yay to the appearance of Mr. Tony Meloto of Gawad Kalinga! I clearly remember last October he graced our Advertising class to give a short talk on 'giving back to society'. I can still recall how I felt after his speech. He was so inspiring! Mind you, I was two feet away from him. hahaha For my classmates who were at his talk, remember he said a lot of big brands wanna be affiliated with GK? Well, that leads me to my next ad.

GOLDILOCKS. Kris Aquino introduces the new CSR of Goldilocks. This Christmas season, Goldilocks together with Gawad Kalinga join forces to provide homes for the less fortunate. I'm not sure how it works but if my memory serves me right, when you buy their cakes, part of the money is donated to GK. I still love Red Ribbon more. But it's fine, great effort to Goldilocks!

DESTINATIONS!
I was watching the Excecutive Class on ANC hosted by David Celdran and he featured two lovely destinations- CamSur and Palawan. That time I just got back a few days before from Palawan so I decided to relive my short vacation by watching it. The CamSur segment focused on the Camarines Sur Watersports Complex and the different choices for lodging. There was the container vans, the more upscale Villa del Rey cabanas, and a little farther is the GK Bed & Breakfast. Yep, Gawad Kalinga. hahaha There's much power in this advocacy pala, hahaha.

198 Class
This is the leadership class every Saturday under P&G's Jim Lafferty. He's never showed up for the past two meetings. Nevertheless those two meetings were fun! First one was intro and expectation citing per group. The second one, Mr. Angkush, HR director of P&G Philippines was our speaker. He talked about vision and it was super fun and enlightening. I was so amazed with my realizations, and right now I just really wanna work on achieving my visions. haha Our (Dianny, Punky and I) major dilemma will be the conflict with PI 100's lakbay aral. We will have two- Intramuros and Banahaw. If 198 is always this fun, how can I miss a class? haha! I hope I enjoy PI. haaay.

NEW LIST
Okay, so due to the global financial crisis, I have decided to provide a realistic and practical Christmas wish list.

Game!

1. New Planner! Something that's gonna be handy even after grad because the coming year won't be much of schoolwork. HAHA Punky's helping me with the Starbucks stickers. If i don't finish it, I'll probably get the Belle de Jour again. I haven't seen the Starbucks one though. But form afar, it resembles a national bookstore planner. hahaha

2. A 'corporate' watch. By corporate, i mean something I can wear to work. I love love love watches. Next to bags and shoes, it's the next item I love. I wish my dad will give me one. Para na rin may sentimental value haha

3. A job I really really want. Of course, every fresh grad will want a job he/she will love forever. And shempre, sayang naman corporate watch ko kung wala akong trabaho noh! hahaha

4. An amaaaazing sem! Nuff said.

5. A great new sosh life for the fresh grad. hahahaha

Christmas Season...Christmas Wish list

Hurray! It's that time of year when we all begin to be kinder, sweeter and happier. I love the cold nights, it's a clear sign of the Christmas season. The songs played in malls also spell HO-HO-HO. And of course, it is time for the annual Christmas wish list! I dare you to write your own as well- both material and non material wishes. Who knows? Santa might be a blog-hopper too!

So here goes my list...
1. A Nikon DLSR (D40/70/80) whichever they're willing to give me.
2. A MacBook in black or white. whichever is available although white is cheaper.

3. A pink and black soft touch stylus for the iPhone. I know Steve Jobs might get insulted with the stylus but sometimes it really sucks not to be able to type properly. Oh, i do hope a screen protector comes with it! haha

4. Dove's Go Fresh Line

5. Bvlgari Crystalline. My brother and I used up our bottle (yes, we share!) so now I want a bigger one. haha
Most of them are expensive, I can't even imagine how I'll have them. haha maybe I can settle for Rihanna & Chris Brown tickets. haha that's quite manageable. haha

Now for the non-material wish list

1. Good health for the people I love
2. Happiness for my family and friends
3. A strong Philippine economy
4. Jobs for all
5. And finally, a successful 10 year plan on God knows what. *wink wink*

Happy Holidays people! Happy wish list-ing! Don't forget to your shopping list too!
