My little problems you can laugh about

Today I went home with a bad headache. Probably the heat was too much for me to bear. I'm not used to going out anymore. I have spent 80% of my summer at home. haha But it'll all end soon...when I fly to Iloilo and spend my time catching up with my high school friends. Can't wait to hit Boracay with them!

Anyhooo, back to my title. haha Yes, I have three major problems that the world can laugh at because compared to corruption, hunger and poverty, my problems are trivial.

One: For the record...I am a bag-a-holic. Next to being a shoe-a-holic. Or not. Ah basta, I can't event rank shoes and bags hahaha Tie nalang. Not that I have gazillions of bags. But it's safe to say that I have bags 'scattered' at different part of the house- study room, sala and my bedroom. Just imagine how many they are. And yes, I have to agree that women just can never have too many bags. Especially for me and my mom, we bring a lot of things when we leave the house like umbrellas, kikay kits, pair of shades, long wallets- sulit ang bags sa amin. Anyhooo, here's where my problem comes... (no, it's not where to keep my bags. That's a problem I can live with, haha)

I was at the mall the other day and saw a very elegant lady with a pretty tote bag. It was so gorgeous I wanted to stalk her but I was too tired and scared (she might have bodyguards around haha) to do it so I just walked away. Let's just say na-love at first sight ako sa bag niya. But now I have no means of putting it on my wish list because I have no idea what the brand is. It still haunts me now. Believe me, it's crazy. See how much I like bags? haha

Two: I can't sleep. It all started when my friend shared to me the letter she received (see previous post). We stayed up 'til 4 AM just talking about it. Together with a Coke overdose, I spend around three hours wide-eyed on my bed, waiting for the Sandman to put me to sleep. Last night, a similar thing happened but it was milder. I didn't drink any caffeinated drink. But was able to fall asleep around 3 AM already. Again, I was begging my body to knock itself out. I had practically tried everything- flipped by pillows, reversed my sleeping position and drank warm milk. Tonight I hope it doesn't happen. I want a good long sleep.

And three: This rarely happens but I think I have just re-crushed on my ex-crush. HAHAHA Did that confuse you? Haha well you see, I met these two people in one event of my org back in junior year and I super liked them. It was a short time to get to know each other since it was a one day event only. We exchanged numbers though. haha However, my phone got stolen last December which means I lost their numbers as well. One of them, let's call him AC, I learned was now studying abroad and has a girlfriend who designs bespoke shoes for the Philippines' elite so okay goodbye crush AC. hahaha Sayang! He was really good looking and intelligent. But here's the other guy, let's call him PR, he's more sociable than AC but was equally good looking and intelligent. I haven't heard anything about him so I dunno. This PR is the guy I'm re-crushing on. hahahaha Well, just so you know, yes I have stalked him and successfully found his number and email. Of course I wouldn't contact him. Baka he doensn't remember me na! Nakakahiya! I do hope I see him again though. But that would probably be impossible for now. I'm pretty sure we don't run in the same circle. haaay.

Okay, so much for sharing my funny problems. Which reminds me, I hope the Senate stops their inquiry on the Hayden-Katrina scandal. FOR GOD'S SAKE, JUST PLEASE TALK ABOUT OUR COUNTRY'S PROBLEMS AND NOT ABOUT SOME CRAZY DOCTOR'S ESCAPADES.

TTFN! (Ta ta for now. hahahaha)

SUPER KILIG LOVE LETTER

I have never been THIS kilig about a letter in my whole life until tonight. No, no, unfortunately the letter wasn't addressed to me. It was for my friend. But she gladly shared it to me and I swear to God I COULDN'T BREATHE WHILE READING IT. I was laughing, giggling, and hyperventilating all at the same time the whole time- no joke. I'm really very happy for my friend. I told her if I can't be happy with my own love life (or the lack of it), then this is the next best thing. haha

And because I am so kilig, I will quote some of the words in the letter that made (and still makes) my heart flutter. I have to leave some parts because that would be a total giveaway. I'll also change some words so that you won't be able to guess who my friend is. YEHEY!

"...this is shaping up to be a very big year for you. And I would very much like to be a part of it. Keep in touch. Ask me anything. Text me for no reason. I rarely miss people, but for some strange reason, I am already missing you. "

Kilig already? Catch your breath for 5 seconds...1,2,3,4,5. Next!

"Heck, if you find yourself without a boyfriend, ask me out on a date. I promise I'll say yes."

And since I post lists in threes or fives or tens, here's one more...

"I can safely say that you have become my favorite person of this past year. I've grown fond of you, so you better keep in touch!"

Hahaha Sorry if the quoted lines came in a very anticlimactic order. I quoted them in the same order as it appeared on the letter.

Now, if only there are more guys like him. I bet the world will definitely a better place. ♥

Too much Coke

Nah, it's not 'coke' as in the drug... Just the good ol' fizzy Coca Cola.

Yesterday I went to Trinoma to pay the bills and buy a gift for Father's day and for Sarah's birthday. It was hot in the mall and there was nothing new to check out in the stores so I decided to go home early. I passed by Mercury Drug and bought a big bottle of Coke to bring home.

When I got home, I immediately shared the box of Cello's donuts with Jom and Sarah and poured myself a cold glass of Coke. For the span of the afternoon until the evening, I drank around 4 glasses of Coke. I was even drinking at 11 in the evening. I didn't really worry since caffein in Coke or coffee or tea never really got in the way of my sleep before. I thought I was immune to it.

Aside from having a very fun conversation with a friend, I was also caught up reading two blogs that she recommended. When I finally decided to get some rest, I checked the watch and it was already 4:20 AM. I did my usual preps before I hit the sack and waited to fall asleep. BUT NO. Little by little, light entered the room signifying it was already sunrise. My eyes wanted to sleep so badly but my mind was just so fidgety I just couldn't fall alseep!

Tick tock tick tock 6:30 AM and I was almost in tears, begging God to knock me out to dreamland. I eventually managed to sleep but had to wake up at 12 to cook food for us.

This incident reminded me of feasib - bad headache, no sleep and very irritable. And I never want to go back to those days. hahaha

For that, I'm not gonna get Coke anytime soon. :)

Another new collection

Today I went around Trinoma but basically spent most of my time in Power Books. I mentioned in my previous post that I'll be starting on a new collection- Philippines art, travel, and photog coffee table books.

Now I found another collection I want to start! DVDs of documentaries! weeeee!

I super love docus and I am so happy I-witness documentaries are on dvd. yahoooo! They cost around 550 pesos per corrspondent. My favorites are Kara David, Howie Severino and Jay Taruc. But since that leaves Sandra Aguinaldo, then I shall get hers as well. I super want to get copies of these!
Plus! They have these Summit Media short stories - the movie version!

I know it's kinda jologs but what the hell most of the stories are suuuper cute so I will get them as well. 390+ lang ata per story. Mahal compared sa pirated hahaha but since this is a collection, orig na!

Yey I'm excited to start on my collections! Gotta grab a Power Books loyalty card also. Sayang ang discounts! :)

Yehey!

Lots of things I'm looking forward to! Here's a lowdown!

1. Vacation in Iloilo. I have always planned this and finally I'm pushing though with it. haha

2. Working on Ma'am Gamo's book. She's writing a new book and a few classmates and friends are helping her with it. I'm excited coz I'm pretty sure I'll learn a lot of things in the process.

3. New habit I'll be doing with Mom hehe

4. Plans with my mares.  Punky and I chatted earlier and we super wanna go out again with Oracle and friends. hehe Weng mentioned she'll be in QC for two weeks so we'll probably have dinner soon. yahooo!

5. I'm starting on my new collection- art and photog books. I'm excited to get my first one. They're quite pricey though- like at least 2000 each. So I guess it's gonna be a slow growing collection but I love it. haha
