Rainy day

Today I officially finished my driving lessons! I am excited to drive However, I do not have my non-prof license yet. And besides, I bet my dad won't let me use his car. I'm fine with it since the price of fuel isn't really very pocket friendly right now. So I'm good with taking the FX or bus.

Anyway, after endlessly thinking of a good name for our class in Advertising, Emm and I came up with 'Choose well, choose nestle'. FYI, our teacher's name is Nestle Jeturian. haha Other group names that made it to the list were 'what's your brand', nespresso, and brandwire.

So far, I am enjoying my classes. All my professors are to look forward to! Thank God they're all great because the schedule is killing me, exage. As Emm would rightly put it, our TWThF sked means Tang*na What THe F*ck! HAHAHAHAHA I love it! It really captures the feeling of every student who hates the new schedule. It is so tiring! Like every after class, I end up lying on the couch for sometime just so I can energize- complete with school clothes on ha! Sometimes I am even too tired to change into my house clothes that I have to drag myself into my room to change. I cannot help but express my dislike of the sked. This schedule also caused the postponement of my attendance at the uMobile party with Fa, Raish and whoever wanted to come. We were just too tired to dance the night away. HELLO STRESS, WRINKLES AND DARK UNDEREYES. GOODBYE SOCIAL LIFE.

On other things, well, it's raining right now. There's a typhoon and it affected Iloilo so much that the whole of Iloilo does not have electricity for almost 23 hours as of this typing. I hope Mom, Dad and Joop are okay. Our house is on an elevated lot so it won't easily be flooded. Also, our town isn't really a flood favorite so I'm quite sure they are safer than the rest of Iloilo. I am quite thankful that Manila is most of the time, lucky not to be directly hit by typhoons. Milenyo is the only typhoon I can remember. It has largely affected Metro Manila causing black outs, falling and flying billboards, and the increase of hotel profits since people who can afford moved to hotels for safety, electricity (generators, amen) and clean water. But for some reason, I did not feel the intensity of Milenyo here at home. Sure it rained, but it was just like any other rainy day. The only direct effect was the electricity loss for less than5 hours. Yep! While my friends went ballistic not having electricity for days, my brother and I only had to endure 5 hours (from dinner time to 11-ish).

Ok, enough snippet telling for now. I'll go rest and sleeeeep as much as I can. Because Sunday marks another day of cramming 4 days of deliverables on Monday. TWThF!
