I know it's midweek but I wanna start na! :)) This post is Week 1, Day 1.

Do not underestimate the sticky tape. More than sealing balikbayan boxes and securing plastic covers on your books, this humble roll of tape can save you from a fashion blunder. No, it won't keep the edges of your blouse's neckline sticking on your boobs to avoid nip slips but it does an equally great job keeping you lint free.
I'll tell you a story. Last December our marble floor had a makeover and was replaced by granite tiles. With the great inconvenience that the renovation caused, I opted to go home to Iloilo earlier than my schedule so I can continue to live a comfortable life. When i got back in February (haha tagal noh?) everything was misplaced. Our trash bin, dustpan, hand towels, the rugs on the floor- they're all gone. I bet they were thrown away because they don't look decent anymore. So I went to the mall to buy new rugs and hand towels. I was at Landmark. I checked every piece of rug that I liked. Then I found this fluffy looking rug.
Something like this.
I had to turn it over to check the price and guess what, when I got up, there was lint all over my black pants and black shirt. OH GHAD. What is nakakaloka? So I left the rugs section and walked to the men's section where they usually have lint rollers. When I asked for a lint roller, the cheapest available was 200-ish. Hello? That's crazy. So I left the area again. And then I remembered a trick my mom told me when I was a kid. So I walked to Office Warehouse (my bag covered my lint filled shirt) and bought the widest tape they had. It cost me 40 pesos. And it worked so fine I was so proud of myself.
Of course a lint roller is more convenient but it's not cute to carry around a lint roller in your bag (unless it's foldable and compact like this). For quick fixes, roll some tape on a piece of paper (see tape photo above) and easily stash it in your kikay kit. If you have a car, stash a lint roller in your compartment and bring your improvised tape roll with you.

Lemme know if this helps!
