I'll give you time to miss me

It's funny how after missing people, you end up spending time with them very soon after your drama. So here goes my Wednesday and Thursday adventure.

Wednesday is our Badminton day. Time to de-stress from all the tough work we've been going through the whole month. After less than two hours of smashing and chasing after the shuttlecock, we all felt hungry and decided to have lunch at Gerry's. It was a craaazy cholesterol filled lunch. It was yummy, nonetheless. Anyway, we arrived 30 minutes late for Law class. Buti nalang the attendance sheet was still circulating. Yay! After some serious and mushy bonding with Andy, we decided to go home and get some sleep. But here goes Migs Tirona, arriving from his PI class. Despite my serious lack of sleep, he successfully persuaded Fa and I to go see a movie. We watched American Gangster. It was good. I actually liked it. For a while I was torn between Frank Lucas' (Denzel Washington) love for family and his big business importing and distributing the best quality opium during the Harlem years.
After the movie, we went to check out the fencing practice at the Ultra.
We had fun watching people in wedgie uniforms poke each other. Fa and I enjoyed holding the blades- the foil and saber. We didn't get the chance to hold an epee' but we did get to tinker their equipment and figure out how it works without getting ourselves electrocuted. Two hours, and a smelly Migs later, we left the place to have a late dinner at Tiendesitas. A little walk to Silver City while singing "Fallin" was just very...weird. It was a long search for dessert. We went around Pasig but everything seems to be closed already. Dessert at midnight? Malamang lang naman closed na lahat. We ended up at the new Petron in Katipunan. We attempted to walked in the drive-thru window of Jollibee but they weren't cool enough and barred us from ordering on our imaginary car. I wanted to sort of bash the lady in the window. Oh demn, I wished we took Fa's car and drove to the window and ask "NOW CAN WE ORDER?" Effin' Jollibee branch. Heniway, we ended up drinking Lipton Red at M14. *wink* Bonding time until a little past 2 then off we go to get some meme.

Thursday. I swear, everyday I spend Marketing with Maam Agatep, I just dislike her more and more. She doesn't listen to the reports, doesn't tell us what she really wants on paper and to top it all, she just loves giving effin' LOW LOW LOW grades. I totally hate her. I really do.

Lunch at Grill Queen with Punky, Vicki, Pat,Dianne, Tim, Jay-ar, Kyle. Serendra and MarketMarket galore with Fa,Punky and Migs. We saw Tintin Bersola shooting for some show we don't know. Anyway, we spent a good five hours just walking around stores, smelling shampoo bars and checking out gadgets and clothes. I loved Hobbes and Landes. It was big. You can even play Wii. I also found a cool emblem and sealing wax sticks (in gold, silver and red), pretty chess sets and lovely toys for the intellectual minds.
Our last stop in Serendra was Fully Booked. Its 5 storeys hold all the books you can ever imagine. Plus, they have collector's item action figures for sale. It was ridiculously expensive but I kinda liked the Batman and Spawn figures. We had a great time laughing at the baduy valentine's cards at the basement.

"You took away a part of me that cared." -statement on a shirt

And of course, who leaves Serendra without cupcakes from Sonja's?
Punky's mom fetched her and so there was the three of us again.

Nakakaburat list: LUSH shampoo bars, Migs' music. The many books. The cool and expensive action figures.

We sort of craved for chicken inasal but we ended up eating at this sisig place, Aysee. It's not that cute, Gerry's-ish resto. It's actually a little Mang Jimmy's-ish place in Pasig.

I now agree with Fa and Migs. Sobrang sarap ng sisig nila.

Dropped Migs off to training. Fa dropped me at BA so I can get a good and affordable ride home.

Whattadays. Two-day togetherness? Erm, as Fa would say, galit- galit muna tayo bukas. ;)

Nakakahilo sa Lush stores. :) Hahahaha.

Hobbes and Landes favorite store namin nung younger sister ko. (She's not that young, 18 na sya sa July) pero sobrang nag-eenjoy kami dun.

Galit-galit? Kayo? Asa pa. :)

Naks, you're such a girl-about-town ah. :) Sarap ng cupcakes by Sonja! What did you get? Ang funny nung drive-through thing haha. And ooh, what's Silver City, anyway? Fa always mentions it in her secret site but I never knew what it is! Hehe.

Hey Nica! Yah, mom and dad ko ayaw dumaan sa Lush stores kahit saan kasi sumasakit ulo nila. Naburat kaming apat sa mabahong shampoo bars. hahaha

Ang saya sa Hobbes and Landes noh? Sarap bilhin lahat!

Haha, I guess hindi nag work yung galit galit today. Magkasama kami ni Fa hanggang 4 pm! haha :P

Hey Raish! Haha, yeah, mejo galang- gala kami lately. Hahaha! I always get the red velvet vixen. Ultimate love!

Nica is right! Silver City is the building at the back of Tiendesitas. It's like a showroom of cars but outside, it is lined with restaurants such as Gerry's and The Tree House (yah, that resto in Baguio,I believe), an Italian resto, donuts store, of course there's Starbucks. And Alchemy Bar!

SIlver city also houses Power UP Pasig with a climbing wall towering up to 60 feet with different levels of difficulty! It's a great exercise!

Yaks, parang publicity write-up lang yung sinabi k ah. hahaha :P
