today I was torn

between going out and staying home to study HR. Damn, I'm stuck in Chapter 3 and we need to study until chapter 9. noooooo. But i think the reviewer will do me fine. As long as I focus. Anyway, back to my being torn...I wanted to see Aliens vs. Predators or check out the Jager Party of JMA at Ponti since Anna Sese invited me to come. Destiny decided that I stay here and read on HR. A friend wasn't really in the best condition for a movie night so we were both stuck home on a Saturday night. But the night wasn't that bad. It was sort of a catch up night over ym with some friends. I just love the wonders of technology.

Coca-Cola has a new campaign. That one with the 'Everyday sweet sunshine' song. It's nice that there's a Filipino touch to it. I believe it's a global campaign because there was this different settings representing different countries. I think they did this to save on advertising costs. All they will do is change the sequence of the clips, placing that of the chosen country as the last clip. Then changing the "Buhay coke, buksan mo" tagline in their own dialect. But somehow, I felt bitin. There was an effort to show togetherness but I didn't feel the connection- the Pinoy twist. They must reconnect with the market through the benta ads like the 'Eto ang beat" craze (which I actually memomize) and the phenomenal Nikki Gil jingle. Well, if you really know me, I love Coke. I am totally in love with it. Although I'm not addicted to it to a point that it's my water. But it is my choice of drink every time I'm out for meals. That's why I am quite attached to their campaigns.

I am very excited for the weekend! It's going to be the super de-stress weekend! Friday Party at Temple then Saturday Jzone event (care of Juancho) , party at Mezze in Greenbelt then Wind event in Jaipur! I wish that many of my batch mates will come on Saturday. GUYS, LET'S SUPPORT EMM'S EVENT. Sunday might be my spaaaah or salon day. That is, if I still have money to spend.
