The UP Centennial Kick off Celebration was effin' amazing! I cannot describe the feeling of being there to witness something great. It is history unfolding in my naked eyes. homaygash!

Migs decided to skip his Fencing training to join us in the concert. I am truly touched.:)

I totally enjoyed watching the parade except of course the fact that it was hot and tiring to stand for hours! The skydivers were worth the wait naman so that's cool. We moved to the field at the back of Quezon Hall so we can get a good spot for the concert. We sat on the grass because our legs were screaming in pain already. And three long hours later, the concert finally started. I loved the 1812 overture, the chorale version of APO Hiking Society's Blue Jeans and ok, I appreciate the appearance of Maestro Ryan Cayabyab. He sang one song which he composed with a friend back in their UPIS days. Yun lang...I wish he just sang a song that everybody could sing along with. Para naman mas worth yung hintay namin diba? But then again, this is about the University's culture and rich history so fine. hahaha In the closing ceremony in December, please sing Tuwing Umuulan or Paraiso or Heto Na Naman. So that we can sing with you, ayt? Oh, by the way, the Maestro entered UP as a Business Administration student but pursued Music when (then) Senator Salvador Laurel offered him a scholarship in Music. Woot woot, BA!

Fa messaged sometime during the concert. Just checking on us. She's in Batangas for her lola's birthday bash so there. She was there busy having her face licked with her toddler cousins.

Fireworks. AMAZING. The best fireworks display I've seen in my whole life. Better than that of Mall of Asia and Enchanted Kingdom combined. (Now I totally don't mind the tuition increase. hahaha, I kid!) OMG. I really really fell in love with the heart shape fireworks. I wanna die. :) I wish Fa was there to see it. Then we can both die of kilig together. hahahaha :P

Si Juancho nag aya manood nung Kick off tapos wala naman siya. weh.
Btw, Juancho's mom is close to Mr.C. Maybe she can hint about nicer songs? hahaha

It's funny how sneaky God can be. He made this night something far better than I hoped for. I love this night. I wouldn't want it to end any other way.
