I still sort of couldn't get over Emm's emo post. To quote:
It's like we're scared to lose what we don't even really have.
There are times when we get too caught up in a situation that all we see is the short term returns it bring. And we base all our decisions on these events that we fail to see what really exists. Sometimes we need to take a step back to realize that we must face reality rather than dwell in our delusions because not all the time our 'projections' will be accurate. Thus, the optimistic, pessimistic and most likely projections, as in the field of business. But returns of immaterial investments aren't that easy to predict. The heart will always be optimistic because it 'feels' the yearning for something real. Then again, the mind will likely be pessimistic since it recognizes logic, reason and the actual situation.
The thing is, when we believe we are in cloud nine, we fail to recognize logic and just have that 'I'm gonna risk it all' strategy in our mind. Which sort of sucks because more often than not, these situations are the painful ones. Because if something really exists, then there is no space for delusions. If something exists, the heart and the mind will point to the same direction. Only the 'most likely' prediction will exist.
Now that I think about it, I think I'm gonna step back and take another look. Maybe we are too full of the optimistic and pessimistic. Maybe we've had enough chances to recognize what exists. Maybe this is the point when we get tired. And maybe after taking a back step, I can finally see clearer. That maybe in reality, there are two separate pictures.

ooouucchhh! haha. oh well, that just means there are so many things that don't exist in my life.
haha. :)
HEY EMM! Of course not! Sometimes, what you see as a delusion isn't actually a delusion in someone else's eyes. Therefore, the converse of the statement isn't necessarily true.
But OMG, I totally love that statement. It sounds so profound. HAHAHA
Here's to finding The One. ;)
