Today we start

Today we start celebrating life.

Well, I always celebrate life. Even when I've been stressed the whole day, I always end it with a prayer of thanks for the good things and the learned values I've experienced. And now I plan to celebrate all my learnings (in excruciating detail) and share them with you from time to time.

* * *
I think most students undergo that quarter-life crisis before they graduate from college. I actually think I am still lost in all these shizz that college showed me. Sometimes I'd want to think I too, am a Jack of All Trades, Master of None.

I mean, all this grade consciousness shit is killing me. I never felt the need to be grade conscious back in elementary and high school because I always manage to get excellent grades. But in college, it's not all hard work. Luck (lots of it) comes in handy and of course, you need to go the extra mile to impress your prof. Even if it meant sitting beside her for a little chat.

To further illustrate, I am deeply appreciative of HR and all its works but I cannot seem to ace the HR exams simply because my professor wants a word-for-word memorization for our essays. I mean, if I memorized the whole chapter, would that mean I understood each concept? It's like memorizing Mi Ultimo Adios without understanding Spanish. Had she administered an application sort of test, I know, in my heart, I could ace that exam.

Anyhooo, not my point. I am not degrading my friends who excel. They deserve all the praises for their hard work. I'm actually proud of them! Then again, I believe that somewhere in me, and in all you jacks of all trades, is that talent that no other person can compare. We just have to find it. (HELP ME FIND IT, Y'all!)

* * *
Cheers to friends who remember and friends who are remembered! Cheers to a friend who's finally moving on!Yay!

You are more than the sum of all your pain. Keep that in mind.
